This will be my last post at the Online Savings Blog.
Believe it or not, I've sold the blog and will be moving on to new opportunities.
It's a bittersweet moment, as I've spent a lot of time and effort starting, growing, and maintaining the site. But, change is the only constant, and it's time for a change.
Thanks for all your support and continued contributions — they will be greatly missed.
Happy holidays — and keep on saving.
You've probably noticed a couple of things different around here: a brand new design!
(RSS readers, you'll have to click through to see what the site looks like now.)
The old design had been with the site pretty much since Day 1 and I figured it was time for a change.
So, what do you think of the new design?
Please let us know with your comments. Your advice is always appreciated!
We've been hard at work coming up with a new look and feel for the blog, which will hopefully launch Wednesday or Thursday.
There's still a few things left to be done, but stick around — there're some changes coming!
Thanks for your continued support.
You'll get all of the content delivered straight to your feed reader or your inbox, and it's absolutely FREE!
We only use full-text feeds, so if you don't want to visit the site to read the latest stories, you don't have to. The entire story will be delivered to you!
Subscribe to the updates today — you won't regret it!

Just a quick update before the weekend: I've moved hosts!
The Online Savings Blog is now being hosted by Media Temple, which should improve performance and eliminate a bunch of heavy traffic issues.
If you see anything funky with the site, please let me know! Moving Wordpress is easy, but I can't guarantee I didn't miss anything. (Wow, nice double negative.)
Have a great weekend!
Sorry for the problems with the site, recently. Wordpress was having some database problems — some plugins were overloading and not everything was up to date.
Apparently, some worm was being propagated on my host's server because of some out-of-date software, causing the site to go down for a day or so.
Everything has been updated, though, and I've actually re-installed Wordpress to make a cleaner database.
Hopefully the site should be working fine for you. If you notice any problems, please let me know.
On a side note, I'm considering a new Wordpress theme — have any suggestions?
This week's Carnival of Personal Finance is hosted by Blunt Money and included my post Mint Officially Launches, Wins Top Company at TechCrunch40.
Just as an FYI, I'm currently out of town on business and will be drowning in work for the next couple of days.
(That's what you get for being an on-site Web reporter and editor.)
But, the posting here will continue — don't fret!
Living without a laptop is nearly impossible for me (only when on real vacation) so I'll have a couple of great stories coming your way soon in the next couple of days.
Thanks for being a friend to the Online Savings Blog. We greatly appreciate it!
