AmTrust Direct has just launched their new e-Savings account, an online savings account with a 90-day promo rate of 5.36% APY.

The e-Savings account has no minimum balances or fees, can be linked to six external accounts and is FDIC insured.

AmTrust Direct's money market account has fallen multiple times over the past few weeks, today down to 4.93% APY from a high of 5.31% before the Fed cut rates.

"The launch of the e-Savings product is yet another vehicle to help customers achieve their savings goals by opening a high rate product at Amtrust Direct. Our commitment is to continue to offer customers great online products with highly competitive rates, and a high quality user experience through the AmTrust Direct website," states Matthew Lehman, Vice President of internet marketing at AmTrust Bank in a press release.

AmTrust doesn't reveal what the rate will be after the 90-day promo period, but you'd have to imagine it will be close to what the money market acount pays.
